Our Story
Mrigashirsha is the name of my dance school, inspired by the Asamyukta Hasta Mudra used in classical dance. The word means βdeer's headβ and symbolizes grace, elegance, and natural beauty.
I chose this name because of my deep love for hand gestures, which are the language of classical dance. I believe all my students are like little Mriga (deer)βfull of energy, able to leap gracefully from one movement to another with joy.
At Mrigashirsha, we focus on nurturing this spirit while celebrating dance, discipline, and passion. Here, every dancer begins a journey of expression and devotion to Odissi.
